wohlOpti
wohlOpti is an interactive survey tool designed to assess spatial well-being along Optingenstrasse. It forms part of the ‘Optingenstrasse Well-being Monitoring’ project, which we are developing in collaboration with Mobiliar and the City of Bern’s Civil Engineering Office. The aim is to investigate whether and how climate adaptation measures based on the ‘sponge city’ principle affect the well-being of local residents. Residents can use a digital model of Optingenstrasse to indicate their level of well-being at different times of the day and explain their reasons.
Before the improvement measures, two Bachelor’s and Master’s theses were carried out to gather baseline data on well-being and the climatic conditions on Optingenstrasse. Some insights are displayed on this poster:
