My work revolves around the statistics and impacts of extreme precipitation events over Switzerland, notably on future trends inferred from climate simulations. A particular focus is on the sub-seasonal temporal clustering of such events, and how it can be explained physically.

Research interests:

  • Climate dynamics and controls on regional climate change
  • Impact of climate change on the hydrological cycle
  • Statistics and impacts of extreme events
