David Ellison is a Researcher/Consultant who works as an External Expert for the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU, Umea) and as an Independent Researcher (Ellison Consulting). His work focuses broadly on the science, politics and policy of climate, primarily on forests, water and their relevance for climate and environmental policy. David has recently joined the Sustainable Land Management Group in the Institute of Geography in order to undertake research on the application of forest-water interactions to sustainable development goals. He is currently developing a project dedicated to studying Landscape and Livelihood Resilience in the Sahel.
