Multisensory evaluation of urban heat mitigation measures

- Assessing the subjective perception of thermal comfort and of urban heat mitigation measures

2011-2014 : Ecole Moser in Nyon. I passed the Swiss Federal Maturity as a bilingual
French-German diploma in September 2014 with a specialised option in Physics and
application of Mathematics as well as Philosophy.

2014-2019 : EPFL in Communication Systems (informatics) - definitive failure with 144
ECTS validated

2019-2023 : University of Fribourg Bachelor of Geography with minors in political economics and
contemporary history.

2023-2026 : University of Bern. Master in Climate Science - focus in Atmospheric Science. Master
Thesis in the Urban Climate group : “Assessing Thermal Comfort Perception for Urban Heat
Mitigation in Lausanne”

 

Work:

01.2015 - 06.2016 : Supervisor for for the study hours in Ecole Moser in Nyon.

  • Help children and teenagers between 8 and 15 years old to to their homework and study.
  • I was also recommended by the school to give private tutoring session to students in need.

08.2017 - 09.2017 : Internship at Swisscom, mainly in Bern and Zurich.

  • I shadowed most posts in the department responsible for the network.
  • Giving a presentation in German about the organisation and functioning of the department as I had understood it.

05.2020 - 12.2021 : Game Master at Xcape in Marly, an escape room company.

  • Welcoming the clients
  • Help them immerse in the universe created for them and guiding them through the game
  • Handling the technical problems that can occur and making sure it doesn’t impact the clients’ experience.

10.2022 - 06.2026 : Developper at IF&B.

  • Development of a database application for this company that acts as a finance advisor.

08.2025 - 06.2026 : Student Assistant (from 03.2026 Scientific Collaborator) in the WSU department at UNIBE

  • Preparation of the monthly national weather report from 1931 until 1999 to be entered into the Euro-ClimHist
  • Database.
  • Data peer review before their publication on the Euro-ClimHist database.

07.2026 - : PhD Student at the University of Bern
