Activities

The research activities of the Remote Sensing Research Group focus on the application and processing of medium resolution sensors like NOAA/MetOp-AVHRR, MSG and DMSP-OLS. Former activities focused on snow hydrology and runoff modelling. Currently, the major topics are environmental monitoring of the Alps (i.e. snow cover, land surface temperature, vegetation dynamics, aerosol and light pollution).
